For anyone who as ever tried to use one of these tools you know how frustrating it can be to not be able to see because the overhead light isn’t bright enough or in the right location. This solves it. The LED is very bright and in an almost perfect location for seeing everything. I say almost because sometimes my had got in the way of the light when I was trying to get into hard to reach locations.

I have Invisalign and those little attachments seem to act like a plaque magnet. I have thus far evaded cavities and want to continue to do so. Brushing like a mad woman on those attachments just kills a toothbrush so I decided to try a pick. The ones I got at K-Mart were cheap and as I said hard to see in some locations so I decided to look around.

The Pick itself is high quality and the handle is a little thicker than those I have tried before. This made it easy to use and handle. Having the sonic is just icing on the cake. I would recommend this to anyone and am considering buying another one for my cat so that I don’t have to pay a fortune to have his plaque removed (he already gets he teeth brushed so why not?).

I found this at my local Target. I am surprised it is not sold directly by amazon.com. It is the best ever!

I hate to floss and I hate picks. When I had my teethe cleaned recently they used a sonic pick so when I saw this at Target I was immediately interested, even though at $10 it is way more expensive than floss. It is the size and shape of a toothbrush and is just as easy to handle. There is nothing to replace but the batteries. The vibrations loosen the plaque much better than a normal dental pick and I found I was easily able to reach way back behind my back teethe where I had never been able to floss properly. Even though I hate using floss, I love using this.

It’s a rather handy tool, cleans well for areas where it can reach. But for smaller spots with accumulated tartar or stain, it doesn’t work well and need to reply on traditional dental picks with sharp hooks. The sonic vibration seems doing a good job, though it gets a bit annoying that it has an auto stop function to cut off every few minutes… probably to make sure you don’t over use to accidentally damage your teeth… The light is handy, but depends on the angle and how you hold the pick, the light may not be able to cast light on your teeth at all…

I used this to clean my dog’s teeth. It works amazingly.

    For $10 investment, it’s a must have.

Because I have gum problems, I’m paying for four dental cleanings a year, so this is prudent. I’m used to sonic cleaning at the dentist’s office, so it feels fine to me. I do it blind so the light superfluous for me, theoretically I could turn it sideways and do scaling, but I don’t worry about that either. I just run it along the gum line, between my teeth and into the pockets in my gums. It’s a good size and shape to get into the back my mouth. My dental hygenist says it’s making a considerable difference, and I don’t mind using it as much as I dislike flossing or using other types of toothpicks.

I’m always leaving it around the house, so I’m getting another. My son tried it and liked it, so I’m getting him one. You can clean it well enough to let someone else try it, but since gum germs are pretty fierce, we’re not going to share it regularly. The dentist’s office cleans theirs and uses it on the next patient, of course.
