It doesn’t
The hole is done to the skull, where it doesn’t hurt. Most likely the patient will only have a small inflammation for 2-3 days near the area of meat caused by the “injury”. The actual pain “exists” while making the hole and placing the implant. Nice video!

I think I am going to get this done to one of my back teeth. I have a temp cap that has been there for some years now and it was never finished now the cap is giving me problems and it is really bothering me. I’m going to get them whole tooth and cap removed and then get an implant.

i’ve not seen zirconian implants in the literature. how long has it been around? i think ceramic types have been used in other parts of the body. Ti is the only material i know to be used in jaw bone. are you a board certified O.S. in the US?
